A VERY Belated Happy Easter to Everyone

I'm embarrassed how late this blog is for Easter. As with all special occasions these days, they keep getting more and more fun, with Mitchell especially. When he knows what to expect and what is coming it is definetly alot of fun.

We woke up Easter morning to Mitchell at our bedside and telling us the Easter Bunny had brought him a gift bag. Get to the living room and of course he's allready got everything sprawled all over the table. My mistake for leaving it there for him to find, like he was going to wait for us. It was an ugly morning so the Easter Bunny had decided to hide the eggs we had colored on our back deck. Didn't want to get wet paws! Well lucky Mitchell, I say Mitchell because at this point Nathan still really has no clue....

The Easter Bunny also went to "Oma's farm" and hid easter eggs there the day before Easter. We had an easter egg hunt at the farm where mom and dad were looking after the horses. It was actually dry for the afternoon and we had a fire and a weiner roast.

It was a great day. Needless to say, by the time we got to Grandma and Grandpa's on Easter Sunday for dinner; Mitchell knew exactly what to do when he opened the back door to a trail of chocolate easter eggs. SCORE!!!

On a sadder note, my mat leave is quickly coming to an end. I don't remember my first one going this fast but Mike says it did. Oh well, such is life. Have to enjoy every day and hopefully Spring will come so we can get some nice days outside. Will try to post a blog more often with updated pictures. Take care all.

We all had lots of fun on the farm, the easter bunny left lots of eggs for Mitchell, he found them all. But there is not much he does not see!! It turned out to be a great day, we even left the horses out and Mitchell watched Opa and Oma play farmer. Next year Nathan will join the easteregghunt for sure.
Love from Oma and Opa
